Again, they will N-E-V-E-R implement the ability to ban artists. Did you read my post above? This feature is not only an obvious necessity, it has been requested and ignored for over two decades. Accept its absence or move on.

I can't find a way to verify, but I think that my Pandora account is over 20 years old. Pretty sure I created my account when Pandora was brand new. And I definitely remember people asking for the ability to block artists even way back then. The advice given at the time was to thumbs-down several of the artist's tracks, and hopefully the algorithm will learn that you don't want to hear that artist at all anymore. I don't think it works. And if you do it, you're also telling the algorithm that you don't want to hear those types of tracks in general. So, if you're like me and you absolutely hate certain bands just for their lyrics but not their music, per se, thumbing-down their tracks will have undesired consequences. Bottom line, Pandora is absolutely immune to user requests. I'm sorry, but it's true. Banning artists is one of the most obvious capabilities a service like this could have, and yet they refuse to implement it. Don't wait for it. They never will.

I came here to make this exact feature request -- the ability to change (at least) the "Now Playing" background color. And the only right way to implement this change is to allow the user to choose a background color. I've seen people request specific colors, or for the background to display the cover art. I'm sorry, but that is self-centered and absurd. I have Pandora running all day long when I work, and the blue background is distracting enough. I'd simply like the option to set the background to the solid color of my choosing. Come on, Pandora; this request is nearly 3 years old and is clearly popular. This post has 146 upvotes and those are the users who bothered to find this forum, log in, find this request, and upvote it.

Ah, OK, so it's not even something that is available natively in Pandora Plus; it's a dark pattern built into the UI. Then I'm not interested. I really hate dark patterns. I tried using a "Premium Access Session" once a couple months ago in a different scenario, and it didn't work. All it did was frustrate me. Please disable the trace -- although since I block bugsnag.com, I doubt it would have accomplished anything either way. Sorry to take your time on this.

I'm sorry, I've worked all day and I'm exhausted and I pay Pandora to make this time something I can use to unwind, not something that requires me to do more work.
When I select "Artist Only" mode on my Android phone, the app crashes. Again and again.
When I do so in the Windows app, which I only just installed for the very first time the other day, nothing at all seems to happen.
What is going on here?

I regularly encounter this problem, and it's quite frustrating. I get it on Brave (a Chromium-based browser) and in the Windows app (version 15.0.3.0 on Windows 10 21H2). Usually, reloading the page or app allows me to log in.

I use a Chromium-based browser (Brave) to listen to Pandora. My keyboard's built-in media keys work to play/pause Pandora, but the "Next track" function does not work. Correspondingly, the "Next track" button in the Windows media control overlay is grayed out. Is this normal behavior?

Thanks, but what confused me is that I have several other curated stations that I had already renamed. Now that I've spent even more of my weekend trying to figure out what's going on, I see that this was due to a bug: While there was once a bug that allowed users to edit their genre stations, that bug has since been resolved. This would explain why you were previously able to change the name of this station, as well as add variety to it. I really want to be able to rename stations, including genre stations. For example, "Comedy - Raw", "Comedy - Alternative", and so on. This makes them amenable to grouping by genre when using alphabetical sorting. It just makes sense. I cannot possibly be the only one who thinks so. I'm just wanting to edit the name, not add variety. I can't imagine a reason that this should be sealed off. This isn't asking the world. I gave up and so decided to reset the names of the genre stations that I had renamed long ago, so I removed them and then re-added them to my collection. And they still have my custom name. Is there no way to even revert to the default name? My goodness this is frustrating.

Is there some reason it's not possible to edit certain station names? I just added the "Alternative Comedy Radio" station to my collection, but I can't edit the title. There is no "small pencil icon" when I try the outlined steps on my PC. The icon does appear on my Android device, but when I go into "edit mode", I'm unable to change the station name.
