I've been (maybe a bit obsessively) reading the manga series Tokyo Ghoul, and I'm currently on the sequel series, Tokyo Ghoul:re! I really enjoy it, and it's probably one of my favorite books of all time to be honest ^^; I can't find a good label for what genre it is, but it's kind of a mix of uh.. mild horror (ish? there's cannibalism, murder, torture, blood/gore, etc.), tragedy, there's some action, uhh... yeah. But PLEASE don't watch the anime, it's absolutely awful. They change lots of things, scrapped bits, and honestly just... dude they ruined something beautiful. Please stick with the manga. Please. @Pandora, here are my choices... Let it autoplay because, on autoplay, you do come across songs you have never heard before. I love the school setting, nothing like hands-on. Morning focus for me. Trail hiking is one of my greatest loves.  Iced latte or cold brew...Neither for me, I could never understand how anyone could drink cold coffee. I love a hot cup of joe in the morning.  Structured day or open agenda...I love both because in the working world, you need structure. Pool dip, I prefer. Hmmm from what I know, playing music to babies can stimulate the creation of new and more neural pathways, which can help, as explained by @sundaysinjuly , for early language, pattern recognition, and connection.  However, as an adult, is not always great to sleep with music, maybe calming nature sounds as that helps our brain relax, but other music can stimulate the brain activity and stop other processes that happen when sleeping (like brain repairing and setting up the memories of the day).
