What is the name of the artist/track you are attempting to remove as variety? Also, are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device? If you are on a computer, are you listening from: A Mac or Windows computer? Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using? If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)? Is there an error message when you attempt to remove any added variety on that station? If so, what does it say? @Hartless623 Unfortunately, I don't have access to the Apple billing system, so I'm not able to tell whether you successfully disabled auto renewal. The best thing to do would be to revisit your Apple subscription page to check. You can view Apple's see or cancel your subscription steps for more info. Alternatively, you could contact the Apple support team directly, and let them know that you'd like to verify that you have canceled the auto renewal on your subscription. Once that subscription fully expires and you start hearing ads again, you should then be able to sign up for the student plan. Hope this helps! ... View more

@Themachinist You should also be able to remove variety from that station when on your mobile device. Here's how to edit your stations on your mobile device: 1. From My Collection, visit your station list. 2. Tap on the name of the station you'd like to edit. If you're a Pandora Premium subscriber, this will take you directly to the station's "backstage page."  If you're a free listener or Pandora Plus subscriber, this will start your station, so tap either the Thumb or small "i" icon in the upper right corner of your screen to continue to the station's backstage page. 3. From the station's backstage page, tap on the Edit icon (the small pencil to the left of the play button) to edit your station, and scroll down. You can edit the following aspects of your station (assuming it is not a genre station, as genre stations are created by Pandora and cannot be edited): To remove variety: Tap the pencil icon to the left of the play button to open edit mode. Scroll down to Station Created From, which shows the "station seeds" that you've added in the past. Tap the (-) iOS or (X) Android beside any item you'd like to delete. Hope this helps! ... Joining or upgrading to a Pandora Premium Student or Military plan is currently not possible through third-party vendors (e.g., Apple or Google Play). If you're interested in subscribing to Pandora Premium Student or Pandora Premium Military, you'd need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to expire. For instructions on how to cancel your current subscription, check out this thread: Manage subscription: Google Play Once you begin to hear ads on your account again, you can apply for the student or military rate from Pandora website. Please keep in mind that once you've successfully upgraded to this reduced rate, your account will no longer be eligible for any additional trial offers.  The balance of any prior offers you accepted (such as a free trial) will be forfeited and you will immediately be charged for your new subscription.
