@Majorbuzz If you toggle that Audio Quality setting to off, Pandora is 64kbps AAC+ on your computer. Regarding the 128kbps - this was in reference to in-home devices such as receivers, TVs, etc.  I hope this helps! 🎧 ... View more

If so, which one? Or, are you using the Pandora Desktop App? Are you using a Windows or MAC computer? ++ Screenshot: Could you also send over a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing when you attempt to shuffle and when you try to use "I'm tired of this track"? For Windows: If you have a Windows machine please try using the Snipping Tool. You can find specifics about this tool and how to use it here. If you have a Mac: Hold down the Shift key and the Command key (which may have an Apple logo and/or a 'four-leaf clover' type symbol). Then, while still holding down these keys, press the 3 key. This will save the screenshot as a file on your desktop. If you hit the 4 key instead, it will give you a target allowing you to drag a box around only the item that you want to take a screenshot of. Crashing: When updating the OS on Android devices, the battery optimization on all apps may be automatically turned back on by default. This can cause performance issues or interfere with playback when the app is backgrounded. Due to the sheer volume of Android devices, we are unable to provide step by step instructions for each and every device. I recommend looking up the steps to manage battery optimization for the specific make and model of your device and disable this for the Pandora app. If you own a Samsung device, you may also want to check your Sleeping Apps settings. ++ Troubleshooting: Please keep in mind, Pandora will never use the last 500MB of storage, so we will only download as many stations as we can before we hit that limit. Is it possible that this might be occurring because there is not enough storage on your device? Make sure to keep Pandora in the foreground of your device while the download completes. If you continue to have trouble, check the download icon for the content you are attempting to download: The two rotating arrows indicate that the content is still in the download process and the highlighted downward pointing arrow means the content has successfully downloaded. If the icon is not highlighted, try downloading the content again and keep the app in the foreground while your offline music downloads. Keep in mind that stations and large playlists take a longer time to download. ++ If this doesn't help with offline mode / being able to download, could you provide more information about your device? It sounds like you're currently running into this during your listening sessions. From an artist's backstage page, clicking on "See All Songs" within the "Top Songs" section, it should play the songs for that specific artist - unless those songs are labeled as "Radio Only". Hi, @glennswett. 👋 Thanks so much for posting about this. I completely understand where you're coming from. Because of our content licensing agreements and the dynamic nature of our service, you will need to have either an internet or cellular network connection in order to stream Pandora. Our ad-supported service operates under a license that doesn't allow us to download stations to user devices. Additionally, unlike other music services, your stream can change depending on your feedback (Thumbs up, down, "I'm tired of this track", etc.). As a result, we need to process each song or podcast episode as a separate audio stream, which requires an internet network connection. That being said, we do offer an offline listening option for Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium subscribers. For more info on Pandora Plus or Pandora Premium, please visit our help page. ++ Ad-supported Pandora and Pandora Plus are licensed as streaming radio services. Although Pandora Plus offers the ability to listen to up to four stations offline, no downloading or stream-ripping is permitted per our licensing.
