My favorite way to discover new music is through Modes and the For You page on Pandora. I also discover new music from friends and family. ๐
@AlyssaPandora Friends and family are a great way to find out about new music!
If I'm not too familiar with a certain style of music, I love tuning into a curated genre station, and let Pandora do the rest. Genre stations typically play a combination of old and new tracks, so I get a good mix of both.
As far as new music goes, I like to follow artists/bands on social media and wait for them to share upcoming projects across their channels.
I would also add coworkers since our music tastes are very different. There are few artists or genres I didn't listen until recently.
I also love clicking on Add similar songs on my playlists. The recommendations usually fit with the mood of the playlist.
My Stations Shuffle has usually recommended me some great new songs.
I also like to discover new music through TV shows, movies, and recommendations from friends.
Multiple Stations with variety in Shuffle mode is my secret.
I usually get my music taste from whatever is trending on social media or movie soundtracks.
Crowd Faves is my favorite mode to get more recommendations.
I love Pandora Modes to discover new music. My favorite to use is Deep Cuts. Also, my sister has good music recommendations.
I love using Pandora to discover new music from Artists I already know. My favorite mode is Energy Boost, it brings me lot of attitude at work.
I like discovering music alone in my car. I think that is one of the best places to explore new music and stations while having a nice drive.
Remember not to use your phone and drive at the same time. ๐
I like to search for music that is similar to the kind that my favorite artists make. That is how I discovered a couple of artists that I like.
Stations and Auto Play hit the mark for me every time! Especially for those old school songs I use to listen to back in the day. ๐ถ
My favorite way to discover music is listening to my friends playlist
@Pandora Since I became a premium member in October 2019 I have been introduced to new music by @AlyssaPandora, @TannerPandora, and @AdamPandora through GSOTD (Genre Songs Of The Day)... @AlyssaPandora introduced me to Freya Ridings and Snoh Aalegra (not sure that is spelled right) Maggie Rogers ... @AdamPandora introduced me to Stick Figure and Kaleo... @TannerPandora introduced me to Ruby Amanfu and Boho Dancer... Following these artists I also came upon new music based upon the suggestions of these music artists...
Have a blessed day... Take care and GOD bless...
And you've shared some wonderful songs with us and even the meanings behind them.
Thanks for being a big part of our amazing community, @MOHLovesAlaska! ๐ถ

Have a blessed day dear friends... Take care and GOD bless..
Hi Matt,
So good to hear from you. And, so nice of Alyssa and you to reach out. As luck would have it I have a new single out in the last week. A bit different from my usual fare. "Elegant Woman" is a piece written for string quartet. A combination of classical and film music. I was fortunate enough to have it recorded by members of the SF symphony. If you care to give it a listen here's a link on Pandora https://pandora.app.link/EWz3JFRhKQb
Thanks for staying in touch and hope you are doing well.
Kind Regards,
Phil K.
โ
@philmobet Hello friend, I will add this to GSOTD (Genre Songs Of The Day) and of course, will add behind-the-song info.
Have a blessed day friend... Take care and GOD bless.
Thank you Matt. So grateful to you and your efforts to help spread the word.
All the best to you and yours,
Phil K.
Thanks for sharing, @philmobet.
Elegant Woman sounds like a beautiful piece, and having members of the SF Symphony record it is truly special. I look forward to giving it a listen, and congrats on the new release! ๐
