Sign on request everytime I start Pandora Windows Desktop App.
For the last month or longer, Pandora requires me to do a complete sign on every time I start it up. This hasn't been the case for the years. Kind of getting tired of typing my sign on name and password several times a day!
No problem with my iPhone IOS bPandora app.
Thanks for any replies!

Pandora Update 10/31/2025:
Hi Everyone!
I’d like to thank you for sharing your experience and for your patience while this issue was being investigated. Some experiences can take longer than others to review, and this one turned out to be one of those cases.
We’ve made some updates that we hope will improve your experience with the desktop app. Please continue using Pandora as you normally would, and let us know if you’re still running into any trouble.
Thanks again for your patience and for sticking with us!
This has been happening to me as well. Over the last couple of weeks when I click on the app, the Pandora window opens but there is nothing displayed except PANDORA. I use a Windows 11 PC and nothing has changed on the PC to initiate this. I have to close the app and then click on it again. The second time it opens, requiring me to enter my email address and password, which I have to look up each time. Is there a solution to this? If not, I'll have to find another source for my music.
@Nessmuk1 Welcome to Community!
Sorry to hear that. I've gone ahead and passed your experience to the appropriate parties for further investigation. We'll follow up with you if we need any additional details.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
Hi @zaqxsw , thanks for posting!
To keep things tidy, I moved your post to a thread that you created previously: Windows Desktop App: Won't Stay Signed In
As mentioned on the accepted solution, you should not have to log in every time you open the Pandora app on your desktop.
Can you please tell me if you have been able to try the suggestions mentioned there?
Also, can you tell me if you have any software that may be removing cookies or temporary files on your computer?
Thanks for working in this with us!
I just typed an extensive reply. I clicked on Reply and it is gone.
Not doing that again. So far the Reset App Data worked on one system. Thanks.
Thanks for letting me know @zaqxsw ! I'm glad to hear that everything seems to be working now.
Please feel free to explore our other threads and spaces of the community.
See you around!
Yes, keeps happening to me as well. I stay logged in on my android phone, but my desktop app on my computer every other day asks me to sign in. I've tried resetting the app and uninstalling, none work more than a day and then back to the madness.
Hi @spunky634 , thanks for pusting!
I've passed this along to the appropriate parties for further investigation.
Thanks for sharing!
Please post any updates when a solution is found. I am also experiencing this problem - Windows 11. I'll check my antivirus - maybe that's interfering?
Hi @cowenowner , thanks for posting!
Sorry for the trouble, can you tell me more about this?
To confirm, is this is happening on your desktop app? Or are you listening from your browser?
If you are on the desktop app, please check the troubleshooting steps for the Pandora Desktop App described here, and let me know how it goes.
It's only with the desktop app and it happens on my other PC as well.
Every day I have to look up my password, and copy and paste it to log in.
Never had that problem before. It never used to require a daily login.
I only use the Windows Defender AV - nothing in addition. But every day I
have to log in to the app. It's tiresome to have to look up the PWD and
copy and paste it each day.

Hi @Nessmuk1 , thanks for posting.
I have passed this too to the corresponding team.
Thanks for your patience!
I'm also having this issue. First time I open the app it's just a blank white page, close and reopen it asks for login. I'm on win 11 and on a local account for windows if that makes a difference.
I have been having this issue for about a few weeks. I am using windows 11(as up to date as possible as of 7/21) and the pandora desktop app(also up to date as of 7/21). Ever time I try to launch the app it just opens a window with the pandora logo and refuses to load into pandora even after 20 mins. I have to close the app and reopen it every time. Also when it does work on the second try, it logs me out. Please help, I am becoming very frustrated and possibly about to stop using Pandora.
@Gustav0547 I moved your post to the existing thread: Desktop: Require to Login Everytime
If you haven't already, please try the following steps:
If you continue having troubles, please let me know.
Same issue here. Windows PC, Desktop app.
I was having this problem on Windows 10, I upgraded to windows 11 recently, and it still persists.
I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, no change.
to note: this issue hasn't happened to me on EVERY restart or boot, sometimes it works as intended... most of the time it doesn't. When re-logging in it also resets the volume to 50% from wherever it was previously.
For the last 3 weeks or so I now have to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the desktop app. For the last 6 years THIS IS NOT HOW IT WORKED, IT KEPT YOU SIGNED IN!!
I have reached out to tech support about this and it's still not fixed. Will this be fixed, or do I need to cancel my account and go with another service?
Using Pandora should not be like going to work, and having to log into something every time!
I have also mentioned for years how when I shuffle my over 100 stations I get nothing but the same 50 songs played over and over again. None of the solutions mentioned fix this!!! Other people have posted about this as well.
Also, on the iPhone app, sometimes you cannot un-thumbs up a song. When you try to it will un-highlight the thumbs up icon for about a half a second, then it will re-highlight it, which will make that song play constantly in a shuffle until I am just sick of it.
Do you all actually care about your customers?
Having to restart the app and sign on every single time on the Windows app is getting really old.
Having the same issue. Tried all of the fixes and nothing works. Getting ready to remove Pandora and move on.
Same issue. Been going on for months. Using Windows 11. When is this going to be fixed?
