I am running the latest version of Pandora on my iPhone 14 running iOS 18.1.1.
The app crashes frequently, and by frequently, I mean "several times a day." Usually it will play for a while (several songs) between crashes, but sometimes it just keeps crashing. I have restarted my phone without change, and I recently deleted and reinstalled the app. Deleting and reinstalling seems to work for a while, but that only helps for a couple days, then the app starts crashing again.
Is there anything to be done here?

I'd like to report this to our engineers team. Could you tell me more about your device?
Let me know.
Carrier: Visible
Pandora version: Latest one available on the app store: 2501.1
Wifi or cellular: yes -- that is, both. Either.
Other patterns: No, I have not. It crashes regardless of whether I am using Bluetooth speakers, AirPods, hearing aids, AirPlay, and the internal speaker. It crashes on wifi. It crashes on cellular. It just crashed just now....
It also does not matter what channel I am playing or how long the song is. Usually it's a single crash in 30-45 minutes, but sometimes it keeps crashing repeatedly on a single song, and I have to skip that song to get it to play for a while.
@unixdude Thanks for providing that info.
I've passed this along to the appropriate parties for further investigation.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
Hi @Kntry777
Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this.
We try to keep things working as smoothly as possible. There may be different reasons for why the app is crashing. I'm happy to report it, but it's helpful to report your specific experience. These details can help in the investigation process and to replicate the issue. For example, does the app crash when simply listening to a station? Or when using Search to find a song or artist? Thank for any additional details you can provide.
My app is doing the same thing, barely plays a full song, offline mode, online, WiFi, cell, it still is crashing. How can we submit bug report or more data? iOS iPhone 15.
Hi @mealan , thanks for posting!
I checked the account linked to your Pandora Community profile and it looks like you contacted us through email before.
An agent has followed up directly with you though email so please check out your inbox or maybe your SPAM and junk folders, just to make sure you don't miss any of our emails.
Thanks for your post!
Thank you! I ended up deleting the app and all data and reinstalling and it seems like it's behaving again. Will respond back in the ticket as well! going on 2 hours now with no crashes.
Glad to hear that @mealan! And thanks for checking.
Please let us know if you have any further issues.
Since upgrading to a paid member every time I try to listen I make it half way through a song and the app crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it is still doing it. Any fixes for this problem?

this is happening again, the easiest thing to do is delete all the downloaded music, that fixes it for a few weeks until music downloads again, wifi or cell doesn't seem to make a difference but I do stream at home on wifi more than on the go, so can't say for certain.
Edit: to note, my stream and download settings are both high, I will try different offload settings next.
@mealan Sorry about that. Could you provide the following information?
Looking forward to your reply.
This is still happening, just happened 5 times in a row less than 45 seconds into a song, downloads reset, station changed, app forced closed.
Same issue here, wifi, cellular, bluetooth, USB carplay, doesn't matter.
This has been happening to me for months and months. Crashes on Wifi, cellular, playing on phone, playing via Bluetooth, playing on Carplay via USB, etc. If I set the phone to leave the screen on with Pandora in the foreground, it's usually ok, but as soon as the screen times out and turns off, Pandora usually crashes a few minutes later in the middle of a song.

Hi @rsg22 , thanks for posting!
Sorry for the trouble. If you haven't yet, let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.
First, I recommend rebooting the device by shutting it down entirely, then turning it back on and trying Pandora again.
If you're still having issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you).* To do that:
*Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically. If you have any trouble with your offline stations after reinstalling, please let us know.
Hope this helps.
Still happening. Piece of garage application. I have canceled the premium family plan I have had for over a decade as there is no real way to provide app crash / bug report.
No. This helps for less then 6 hours.
Still happening even after the reinstall. @MariaPandora how can this get escalated? just got a thanks for being a customer for 20 years email yet i'm about not to be.

@mealan Sorry to hear you're still having troubles.
I'd be happy to report this issue to our engineers team. Please provide the following information:
I work in tech, the missing ability to provide pandora debug logs is insane, it typically happens around 50 seconds in, and got a video of it. it seems to be time based, however as you have no logs I can't actually tell. who is here is an actual support member, or how can I get in touch with an actual human for a) credit and b) to provide more than this useless information?
ios version: 18.6.2
Pandora version 2507.1.1
Family subscription, streaming cell quality high, streaming wifi quality high.
