I don't have a specific type of music, but usually when I start a new activity I change to a completely different genre or a different station, listen to a couple of songs to clear my mind and start the new activity. Or when I'm starting to feel a bit drowsy or overwhelmed with an activity and kind of need to reset, I activate the shuffle until I find something that feels right and stick to that station.
