I am aware of licensing restrictions (I think it's no more than four songs by a particular artist within a two-hour period, if I recall correctly.) - but I'm not sure what I did differently that could change my station so drastically. If I wanted more variety on this station - that's what the other station modes are for, isn't it? Maybe there's a possible flaw in the system? The station mode reads 'my station' on my end, but it sure isn't behaving like it's that mode. It sounds more like the station mode is 'crowd faves', but that is not what I have selected. It should also be noted that I have plenty of songs thumbed-up by various other artists that have not appeared within this span of time. 1220 thumbed down songs as of this post. EDIT: Saw this notice again, today. I wonder if this has something to do with it: 'We’ve noticed some issues that may be affecting your ability to listen or use certain features on Pandora. Even though Avenged Sevenfold is a hard rock band, I like to mix rock and blues on the same station - and, up until a little over a month ago, my Avenged Sevenfold Radio has been doing a good job of mixing the genres. However, the station has recently been choking out the blues variety and it keeps throwing songs at me that I never thumbed up in excess. I haven't been listening to any special mode, just 'my station'.
Is this change intentional? If so, I'm really gonna miss the station that I spent about six and a half years cultivating.

This might also be an issue for other artists (I dunno) - but, as Jimmy Reed is my favourite blues artist, this has been noticeable for me. Not counting Scary Halloween Sounds (which doesn't play like a radio station), I have nine permanent stations in My Collections. It seems Jimmy Reed Radio is the only station to play Jimmy Reed. I don't have any blues music on Nature Sounds Radio (all nature ambient), Halloween Radio (Halloween rock and Halloween ambient), and Rock Variety Radio (rock music only) - so I wouldn't expect Jimmy Reed on those stations. I'm currently listening to Thumbprint Radio, and I've yet to hear Jimmy Reed get played. Remaining stations are Blues Variety Radio (blues music only), Charlie Musselwhite Radio (blues music only), Five Finger Death Punch Radio (rock and blues), and Avenged Sevenfold Radio (rock and blues). I also temporarily had a station created from Howlin' Wolf and seeded with Little Walter and Snooky Pryor (all artists similar to Jimmy Reed), and no Jimmy Reed showed up on that station - except for that one song attributed to "Jimmy Reed Baby". I suppose adding Jimmy Reed as a seed to those stations could resolve it, but it shouldn't have to be necessary.

I recently got rid of My Thumbs Up Playlist, as it got to be a hassle. I prefer to keep my playlists organized, which means that I manually put the tracks in alphabetical order. Thumbprint Radio, on the other hand, is a nice feature to have - as it's a good place to get new song suggestions. I think it's be nice to remove some stations from Thumbprint Radio, though - as ambient stuff doesn't quite fit in well with rock and blues. Otherwise, I like it.

Personally, I was glad to see them gone - which tends to be too much of a troll magnet. That's an issue with almost any website that has comment sections. On forums such as these, which have a much more active moderator watch, that's a bit different.

Well, if I start to hear rock music or blues music on my Nature Sounds Radio, I'll know that there's a problem!! Most of my stations focus on rock and/or blues, but I've recently started to develop an interest in nature sounds. I also have a Halloween station that mixes Halloween rock and Halloween sounds.

It would also help with deleting songs from a radio station for those with premium accounts, as this with plus and basic accounts simply have to click "delete" without using a drop-down menu.
