Provide a queue when using Pandora Premium on desktop. Desktop version only allows instant play of a song or requires creating/adding to a playlist. I have no desire to create a playlist. I thought about creating a thread here reminiscing about the old Pandora profile comments, but decided to search for this topic first to see if anyone else missed them. I used to spend hours chatting with other Pandora users through that mechanism—literally got me through college. I think they stopped working around 2019. Profile comments were like old-school AOL instant messenger; only had a handful of friends, but gradually developed more as you met new people through your existing friends. At what point will Pandora be offering its listeners the ability to thumbs up/down the various ads that are played? Like many, I find a number of the ads that Pandora chooses to play in support of the overall platform mildly sexist, potentially racist and downright offensive (my list might be different). While I don't begrudge Pandora running ads to offset the cost of providing their platform (nothing wrong with a little capitalism), I struggle with being subjected to ads that I partially/totally disagree with, and usually turn off/on the app to clear the ad. While I realize that Pandora gets paid either way, it causes the overall user experience to be less than optimal. And, if I were to subscribe to a paid service, it would likely be elsewhere (sorry, being honest). So, if you want to continue to generate ad revenue from your cheap(er) users, consider giving us the option to thumbs down the ads we disagree with, and play the through the ads we find less offensive. I am aware of licensing restrictions (I think it's no more than four songs by a particular artist within a two-hour period, if I recall correctly.) - but I'm not sure what I did differently that could change my station so drastically. If I wanted more variety on this station - that's what the other station modes are for, isn't it? Maybe there's a possible flaw in the system? The station mode reads 'my station' on my end, but it sure isn't behaving like it's that mode. It sounds more like the station mode is 'crowd faves', but that is not what I have selected. It should also be noted that I have plenty of songs thumbed-up by various other artists that have not appeared within this span of time. 1220 thumbed down songs as of this post. EDIT: Saw this notice again, today. I wonder if this has something to do with it: 'We’ve noticed some issues that may be affecting your ability to listen or use certain features on Pandora. Thanks for sending that over, @grrlwhit03. It looks like a playlist was shared with you - not a station. Thumb ratings are only a feature when listening to stations - not playlists. Stations on Pandora Premium are guided by thumb feedback or added seeds, like Pandora and Pandora Plus stations. While listening to a station you can thumb up or down songs from the Now Playing screen to help us learn what to play next. Playlists, on the other hand, are guided by listener's choice. This means you can add only the songs you want to hear, and sequence the playlist yourself. This being said, no further action is needed on your end to make this playlist your own. @AutoMcD Nice to see you around the Community. 👋🏽 Thumb ratings applying to a different version of a track: I moved your post to this thread since you are reporting a similar issue: Thumbs apply to alternate (unthumbed) versions Check out the accepted solution to this thread for more info on why an alternate version of a song may be substituted for the one you actually gave a Thumbs Up rating to.  Avoiding remixed versions of a track: We don't currently have the option to filter out certain versions of tracks, such as remixes or live recordings on Pandora stations. In the meantime, I recommend upvoting this existing feature request with a ❤️ to express your interest in getting it added to the service as well: Exclude Live Performance/Remixed Versions of Songs That being said, if you Thumb Down a live or remixed version of a song, you will not hear that version again on the station you're listening to. This will not keep the studio version of that track from playing and doesn't necessarily mean that you will no longer hear other songs by that artist. As always, you should use your Thumb ratings freely to tell Pandora what you want and don't want to hear. For complete control of what you hear on Pandora, try Pandora Premium.
