Web: Finding the Station Playing on Shuffle

kbs
Underground

Hi,

When using shuffle, sometimes I want to know what station a particular song is on (played from). I thought I had found a way to see this info, but can't figure it out on my desktop.

Thanks for any help!

@AmishLou When listening to Shuffle, you can view which station a particular song is from by scrolling to the bottom of the Now Playing screen. A banner will appear at the top of the window.

It should say "[Station_Name] Radio," and then the name of the track.

Is this no longer happening for you when streaming Pandora on your desktop?

Let me know.

Hi @kbs thanks for posting to community!

Unfortunately, this is not currently a feature on Pandora, however there is a feature request for this feedback in our Feature Request board. You can find it here.

The Feature Request board is the best place to post new ideas you'd like to see on Pandora or like those ideas from other listeners.

Hope to see you around community more! 🎧

The station that a song was playing from (when on shuffle) used to be blue on my desktop instead of black. Why does this no longer happen? Thank you!

This does function. I am glad to see there is a way. It is unfortunate that I have to be on that particular screen , specifically on the bottom (which is rather unintuitive).  Thanks for pointing this out.

It is good to know which station is playing a song before I give it a thumbs up. I have noticed certain songs which I have given a thumbs up to across multiple stations and want to "dial that back at". Hoping to avoid multiple stations from becoming too similar.

Good Morning ,

Can you please tell what station this is playing from so I can delete it ?

I have thumbs down several times.

@Daninayy1990 I moved your post over to this existing thread: Web: Finding the Station Playing on Shuffle

I checked on my end, and that track played from your Kid 'n Play Radio station.

For future reference, when listening to Shuffle, you can view which station a particular song is from by scrolling to the bottom of the Now Playing screen. A banner will appear at the top of the window.

It should say "[Station_Name] Radio," and then the name of the track.

Here's an example of what that would look like:

Hope this helps!

Good God, that's been driving me crazy and messing with my stations for years!

Way to over complicate what should be a simple procedure.

Hi Adam,

Is this a feature that's available on the Android app as well? I can't see what your screenshot from a computer shows.

Thanks,

Jeff

@Cumminsjw That is not currently a feature on other devices.

If you'd like to see that option available on mobile, I recommend upvoting this existing thread with a ❤️Ideas: Show current station playing when in Shuffle mode

Hope this helps clarify.

why, oh why, oh why does one have to scroll down in order for the banner to appear at the top? I FINALLY understand, but sheesh.
