Hey, @Waltshear62. ๐
I moved your post over to the My Collection board to keep the community organized.
At this time, there isn't a way to delete your listening history - which includes all thumb feedback, stations, playlists - without completely deleting your account.
I'm happy to provide some tips to better tune your stations going forward, so you can keep the music you love playing on your stations without needing to start over again.
If that sounds good, let me know and I'll post some steps to help on this thread. ๐ถ

@davemilito I recommend upvoting this feature request with a โค๏ธto express your interest in seeing it added to the service: "Soft" Account Reset
In the meantime, the quickest way to start fresh would be to delete your account completely, and then create a new account using the same email address.
That way, you can start over again with creating new stations without having to manually delete the old thumb ratings you've given in the past.
Hope this helps!

I know I am small potatoes...but...not being able to refresh helped me make a decision to cancel my monthly subscription. Kinda sad about it..this seems like a no-brainer thing to be able to do.

I agree. Some new searches, when I first owned my account, revealed explicit junk I am forced to see these pornographic album covers every time I open the app. About to request an account deletion when I'm done here.

@CA08PA22 There currently isn't a way to filter album art in any capacity on any device on any platform and I'm on a lot. Everything from Apple Music, to Pandora, to YouTube music.
If folks are easily offended by album art then these types of music platforms are probably not for you. Stick to the radio in your car.

This would be the most important upgrade to Pandora to us (my family subscribers) by far. I am disappointed there is not a simpler workaround than deleting your account entirely and starting over. That is a lot of work to do; it's simpler to just delete the subscription and start over with a competitor at this point. I have zero interest in what Pandora thinks about what i listened to four years ago, and sometimes you just want to start fresh. Customers really shouldn't have to justify these kinds of deletion requests these days; all companies should give customers the freedom to delete whatever they want.

@Listener001 I definitely understand your frustration with this.
In the meantime, if you'd like to see something like that added to Pandora, I recommend creating a feature request for your suggestion here.
This will give others around the community the opportunity to upvote the idea to express their interest in that getting implemented to the service as well.
We appreciate your feedback!

@Dr-Satan Podcasts should not start automatically if they are not added to your collection.
Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?
- If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
- A Mac or Windows computer?
- Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
- If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
- What is the name of the podcast that plays automatically when you launch Pandora?
- Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Thanks for working with me on this. ๐ค

Why? Why must one "Stick to the radio in your car" just because you'd like an option added? This is the reason I dumped Etsy and may be the reason I dump Pandora. Why must we just accept media we don't want to see or don't want to see anymore? Why can't we ask for the ability to choose?

how do I delete the account? It keeps coming back to the one I am one...
I would like to cancel all collections and start over. I want to listen to only classic Christian hymns, is that possible. A few of the new ones may be okay, but I want to determine that for myself. Can you help me. I have not been listening because there are several I've gotten that I just don't like, and I would like to keep my mind on Jesus, not the world.

@cgrist2018 You should be able to delete your free account by following the steps listed on this page.
You can then create a new account and start over using your same email address.
Hope this helps!

Welcome to community!
I moved your message over to an existing thread: Clear account history and start fresh
Unfortunately, it's not possible to clear our your thumb history without completely deleting your account.
If you'd like some tips on how to improve your station, I'm happy to provide some. Otherwise, you'd need to delete your Pandora account and then create a new account using the same email address.
