I’m not receiving any sound from my Pandora account and in the middle of making a playlist

@Cyn4 Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

  1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
    • A Mac or Windows computer?
    • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
  3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  4. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Could you share a bit more about how you're listening when this happens?

  • Are you using a device? If so, what is the make and model?
  • If you're using a computer, are you on a Windows or MAC computer?
  • Are you using a web browser? If so, which one?
  • Or, are you using the Pandora Desktop App?

To clarify, does the music timer still appear as if a song is playing, however there is just no sound? Or is the issue that the music is pausing, and you have to manually click on the play button in order to get a song to play?

Also:

  2. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?

@WINFIELDACE It sounds like you might be running into network firewalls at the library. Sometimes IT departments decide to limit their user's access to music streaming services like Pandora. If it isn't working when you listen from the library, you may want to check with their IT department to make sure that they haven't blocked your access to streaming services.
