I'm trying to delete this account as I hadn't realized I could change my email so easily, so I made a new account. Now that I realized I could change it I'd like to delete this account in order to free up the email.

If you would like to completely delete your direct-billed Pandora account, you will first need to cancel your subscription, and wait for that subscription to completely expire.
(It's important that you cancel your subscription prior to deleting your account, to avoid further charges.)
Once you start hearing ads again, you can then delete your account completely.
To delete your account from a mobile device:

With this being said, it sounds like you need help deleting the account immediately since it was set up by mistake.
